Pontoon C Renovation, January 2009 • Cruising Notes
Thank you to everyone who contributed to a very efficient Crane Out, with particular thanks to Ron Goldsmith for coordinating activities. With the car park half full of boats, please would members remember to park as economically as possible so as to allow room for other members to park.
Please note that arrangements for electricity over the winter months will be the same as last year. Members who wish to use electricity while not on their boats will received an additional £50 charge and should attach a tag to their electricity cable. Any cables not tagged will be unplugged on Monday mornings. Tags are available via the office and any concerns should be directed to a member of the Management Committee.
Ron's next project will be the delivery of new pontoon units and replacement of Pontoon C, due to start in December. Ron will be looking for volunteers to assist—so stay tuned!
The Crane Out was preceded by a meeting of Cruiser Sailors on Friday night. If you were unable to attend but have any observations about the cruising season just gone or the one to come, please contact David Gates or leave a message with the Office.
